As an obstetrician who specializes in maternal fetal medicine, I love taking care of both the patient and her fetus. As a maternal fetal medicine expert, I often provide prenatal care to patients who are experiencing high-risk pregnancies. Working at Ohio State gives me the opportunity to access leading-edge technology combined with specialized, compassionate and evidence-based care. I believe that each patient should truly be involved in her plan of care. It's very important to me to listen and communicate with each patient about her concerns and goals. This approach results in better all-around outcomes for my patients. In my free time, I like to relax with my family and enjoy the outdoors. I also love animals and spend time volunteering at a local animal shelter.
