Julie Harper received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in Psychology. Then she continued her education and received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee. While in medical school was awarded Alumni Achievement Award in Clinical Medicine in 1999.
Dr. Harper completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University of Alabama hospital in Birmingham. Was administrative Chief Resident in 2002-2003 and received Charles E. Flowers Jr. Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2000-2001. Previously Julie Harper was in private practice of Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates and served in the Desoto Surgery Center Medical Advisory Board. Dr. Harper is Board Certified.
Personal: Dr. Harper is married to James D. Harper, an attorney. They have two young children Hannah and Jack.
