Juan-Carlos Brenes, M.D. joined Mount Sinai Medical Center as the Co-Director of the Non-Invasive Echocardiography Lab in August of 2010. Specializing in advanced echocardiography, including 3-D imaging, Dr. Brenes attended the University of Miami where he studied internal medicine as part of the Harrington Medical Training Program and completed his cardiology fellowship. He later completed his advanced echocardiography fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center, currently affiliated with the Mount Sinai Heart Institute. Dr. Brenes is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Echocardiography.
