Dr. Joseph Turner earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans where he was elected to the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed LSU's Family Practice residency at Washington-St. Tammany Medical Center in Bogalusa, LA where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Turner is board certified in Family Medicine. He spent his first 22 years in private practice in Lutcher, LA. He joined the staff at Ochsner Prairieville Health Center in July 2010.
