Joseph L. Kummer, M.D., a native of Omaha, received his undergraduate degree from St. Louis University and his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He completed his internship and residency at Northwestern University and a cardiology fellowship at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit. Dr. Kummer will focus in coronary catheterization, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Dr. Kummer joins Bryan Heart Institute cardiologists Steven Krueger, M.D. and Keith Miller, M.D. in seeing patients in McCook.
