He practiced nursing for 3.5 years as an emergency room nurse prior to enrolling in medical school. Furthermore, he was a patient care technician prior to becoming a nurse. He is bilingual, and fluent in written and spoken Spanish. In his spare time, Dr. Martinez enjoys running and reading.Dr. Martinez is a board certified surgeon.
