Brief Intro

Dr. Joseph H. Wandass, III joined Quaker Medical Associates in 2005 after serving for five years as Medical Director of Outpatient Medical Offices for Bertrand Chaffee Hospital. He received his medical degree magna cum laude from SUNY at Buffalo where he also earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry. Before attending medical school, Dr. Wandass was appointed as a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at the Naval Research Laboratory and also worked for the Dutch Chemical Company Akzo Nobel. Dr. Wandass is author or co-author of more than 20 scientific papers and holds a United States Patent in magnetic sensor technology. As are all of our physicians, Dr. Wandass is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Outside of the office, Dr. Wandass enjoys participating in golf and bicycling with his family, amateur radio and astronomy, and music.
