Dr. Joseph Potaczek is a native Chicagoan. He came to psychology after a previous executive management career and then completed his Psy.D. (doctor of psychology) at Adler University in Chicago. His perspective and experience reaches out to supporting the needs of individuals undergoing various concerns, stressors and transitions.
Dr. Potaczek believes that individuals are able to make positive and meaningful changes in their lives. Many times individuals suffer due to being stuck and engaging in patterns that stifle personal growth, inhibit change or increase stress. Many times these patterns are feelings of fear, guilt, anxiety, depression or anger. Dr. Potaczek's approach is to help identify distress and move you toward positively addressing these patterns and obstacles.
