Dr. Lorenzo is a professor of medicine in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He is a nationally renowned expert on bone remodeling and its effect on bone health. Dr. Lorenzo s clinical interests include management of patients with osteoporosis and metabolic bone disorders. He organized the first international conference on osteoimmunology in 2006.
