Joseph A. Bocchini, Jr., MD, is a pediatric infectious disease specialist. He recognizes the importance of relationships with pediatric patients and their caregivers as he treats children with rare and unusual infections. Dr. Bocchini thrives bringing new medical treatments and therapies home to children in our community. His decades of experience are valuable as he treats kids with viral, bacterial and fungal infections and advances the field of pediatric medicine.
Dr. Bocchini graduated from St. Louis University School of Medicine. His medical training consisted of a pediatric residency at University of Connecticut and a fellowship in pediatric infectious disease at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. He is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric infectious diseases by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Bocchini has four daughters and five grandchildren. Away from the clinic, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, music and photography.
