Dr. Jose Mathew is a board certified physiatrist who is fellowship trained in Interventional Spine and Pain Management. Dr. Mathew received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he also obtained a Masters in Public Health. He went on to complete a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, graduating in 2010. Following residency, Dr. Mathew completed an Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine fellowship at Alabama Orthopedic Spine and Sports Medicine Associates in Birmingham, Alabama. He is a contributing author in multiple textbooks, and journal articles as well as articles in several local newspapers. He serves as an examiner for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Board exam and is an associate professor at GA-PCOM in Suwanee.Originally from Georgia, Dr. Mathew has spent most of his life and schooling in the area, attending college at the University of Georgia, receiving his Bachelor of Sciences in both Biology and Microbiology. Dr. Mathew looks forward to serving the community he grew up in and contributing to current advancements in musculoskeletal and spine care, offering them to his patients as they become available.
