Dr. Jacobs specializes in craniofacial surgery, cosmetic surgery and microsurgical breast reconstruction. He received his general and plastic surgical training at New York University Langone Medical Center. He also completed a yearlong fellowship in Pediatric and Adult Craniofacial Surgery at New York University Langone Medical Center in the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. Dr. Jacobs is an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at the New York Medical College. He is a member of many well-known professional societies including the American Society of Craniofacial Surgery and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Jacobs has specialized training in the treatment of facial differences in both the pediatric and adult population caused by congenital malformations, traumatic deformities, or after cancer surgery. His research primarily focuses on the use of virtual surgical planning for the treatment of these complex problems. Dr. Jacobs aesthetic practice involves surgery of the face, eyes, and neck, as well as body contouring following weight loss or pregnancy. He additionally has microsurgical training and offers a variety of autologous breast reconstructions, including DIEP, TUG, and GAP flaps. Dr. Jacobs completed his undergraduate education at the University of Pennsylvania. He remained in Philadelphia for his medical school education at Jefferson Medical College.
