Communication is essential to any medical practice. I take time to listen to my patients' concerns and help educate them about their illness and treatment options. In 1971, I earned my M.D. from Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. My Internal Medicine internship and residency were completed at University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition, my fellowship training in Endocrinology was completed at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Currently, I am a clinical professor of medicine at the University of Wisconsin Medical School Milwaukee Clinical Campus. I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Professionally, I like to keep abreast of the latest research about treatment for diabetes.
