Dr. Shin received his B.S. in Biology and Baccalaureate Honors degree at Rider University. From there he attended University of Pennsylvania in the Masters of Environmental Sciences health emphasis track. He attended Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine concentrating on the modalities of Osteopathy in the Cranial Field and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He was the president of the Undergraduate American Academy of Osteopathy during his medical school. He was selected to Phi Sigma Sigma (Osteopathic Honors Fraternity). From there he attended Crozer Keystone Family Medicine Residency and served as a Chief Resident. He won numerous awards such as Center for Family Health Resident of the Year, Sports Medicine Resident of the Year and Comprehensive/Alternative Medicine resident of the year awards. He also has extensive training in medical acupuncture completed the Helms Medical Acupuncture course sponsored by Stanford Medical School. He completed numerous coursework for Prolotherapy and has also received advanced training in Honduras during medical missions/training. He has successfully completed the Crozer Keystone Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship program and concentrated on the modalities of Integrative Sports Medicine model.
