Dr. John R. Hughes joined the Mankato Clinic in 1986 after completion of a family practice residency at the University of Minnesota Duluth School of Medicine. A native of Bricelyn, MN, his medical degree was received from the University of Minnesota Duluth School of Medicine. Dr. Hughes has six children and is very active in their endeavors. He enjoys being with his family, movies and cooking; mostly because he was raised in a cafe run by his parents. Dr. Hughes is board certified in Family Practice.
