Dr. John R. Herrin A New Hampshire native, Dr. Herrin is a 1974 graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed his periodontal residency at the University of Iowa. Dr. Herrin is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Herrin has been practicing in Bedford since 1986. He is a member of the Manchester and New Hampshire Dental societies, the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology. He has received several periodontal achievement awards; has published scientific papers in national and local journals; is active in continuing education, and lectures frequently. Dr. Herrin and his wife, Linda, live in Amherst, NH. He has two grown sons. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys skiing, canoeing, fishing and other outdoor activities. Dr. Herrin retired after 31 years of service in the Army and New Hampshire National Guard.
