Dr. Tomasula graduated from NYU School of Medicine in 1981 and completed both a residency in general surgery and a fellowship in transplantation at the State University of New York-Brooklyn. He initially practiced general and vascular surgery and kidney transplantion at Westchester County Medical Center as the Associate Director of Transplantation. He then became Director of Transplantation at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Tomasula specialises in general surgical, endocrine, and vascular access procedures and has extensive experience in the surgical care of the dialysis patient. He currently holds a professorship at New York Medical College.
