As a former engineer, I am drawn to the marvelous mechanics of the spine and fixing it comes naturally to me. Im careful to pay attention to all of the details because just one subtle clue could be the key to diagnosis and treatment. Its inspiring to work alongside medical professionals who love coming to work each day. An important part of my job is to educate patients and teach them how to become experts on their own conditions so they can play an active role in recovery. I do this by thoroughly explaining the diagnosis, going over X-rays and MRIs and discussing all options for care.
