Dr. Ullrich's Biography
Dr. John J. Ullrich is a Northern Virginia native. Growing up he attended St. Leo’s and Paul VI High School in Fairfax. His interest in science technology led him to Virginia Tech, where he acquired a Biochemistry degree with honors. During college, Dr. Ullrich worked for dentists in the area during his free time. These experiences sparked his passion for the field. He proceeded directly from Virginia
Tech to the Medical College of Virginia, where he received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Ullrich is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Association.
Dr. Ullrich was featured in the Washingtonian Magazine’s “Top Dentists†issue this past April. He stays up to date with the latest in dental technology, and is often seen at continuing education classes. His skillful delivery is always accompanied by a warm chair side manner. From kids to kids at heart, his philosophy revolves around treating every patient like a member of his own family. Dr. Ullrich has spent time as a volunteer at the Give Kids a Smile Program, M.O.M. Mission of Mercy Program, Richmond Christian Crossover Clinic, Roanoke Free Clinic, and the Lynchburg Free Clinic; always believing in giving back to the community.
This past June, Dr. Ullrich married his longtime friend and sweetheart Bridget; a first grade teacher in Reston. Together they reside in Loudoun County with their two dogs, Titan and Duchess.  Dr. Ullrich is an avid D.C. sport fan, and enjoys outdoor activities in his free time.
