Dr. Quinn received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in 1968 and his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia (MCV) in 1972. He served an internship in internal medicine at Emory University from 1972-1973. He was a resident in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia from 1973-1975. He was a Fellow in cardiology at MCV from 1975-1977. Following his fellowship, he was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at MCV from 1977-1979.
Dr. Quinn was the first board certified cardiologist to practice in Winchester. He joined 110 Lee Street, Ltd., now Winchester Cardiology & Internal Medicine, Inc., in 1979 and started the first cardiac catheterization lab in Winchester. He specializes in invasive and non-invasive cardiology procedures which include cardiac catheterization, balloon angioplasty, coronary stenting and echocardiography.
Dr. Quinn is past Governor of the Virginia Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, Medical Society of Virginia, American College of Physicians, and the American Heart Association.
Dr. Quinn is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
