Education and Experience
Dr. Finn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University and was elected to the Alpha Honor Society while at medical school at Case Western Reserve University. He completed a six-year residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas where he received the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency Research Award for his study in wound healing. He is double board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He was awarded the Jack Anderson Award for Academic Excellence 1998.
Areas of Specialty
Dr. Finn specializes in both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures such as face-lift, endoscopic brow-lift and the reconstruction of facial defects from skin cancers. His double board certification makes him specially qualified in cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, Non-invasive procedures including fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, & Sculptra) and neuromodulators (Botox and Dysport form a large part of his practice. Dr. Finn has been a speaker at multiple national meetings and is often interviewed to give his expert opinion on cosmetic procedures. Teaching and Philanthropy
Dr. Finn believes in giving back. Dr. Finn frequently teaches his peers at both local and national venues, in large lectures and small groups. He volunteers as Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at Duke University and his clinic serves as a required rotation for the Head and Neck Surgery residents. For the last four years he has served for week long medical missions in the Dominican Republic with the medical students of the University of Florida. For over a decade he has offered pro-bono services to victims of domestic abuse through the Face-to-Face program of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and now offers these services to our wounded veterans as well. He contributes financially to multiple organizations with the MS Society, the Lindberger Cancer Center, and the Susan B. Komen charity for breast cancer being his favorites.
Art and Surgery
Dr. Finn is known for his artistry as well as his surgical skills. He dedicates time every week mastering the art of sculpture. Dr. Finn works mostly in clay and either fires his work or casts his work in a variety of materials. He serves on the board of directors for the Liberty Arts Foundary. He is an accomplished photographer as well. He uses his artistic skills every day in his clinical practice and feels his artwork makes him a better surgeon just as being a surgeon makes him a better artist.
