Dr. Joel W. Teagarden Dr. Joel Teagarden graduated from the University of Iowa in 1976. After dental school he served as a dental instructor at Broadlawns Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa until 1983. He has been practicing dentistry in Bettendorf, Iowa since 1985. He is a native of Boone, Iowa but currently resides in Bettendorf, Iowa. Dr. Teagarden has many family members including his wife Kari, children Shane, Austin, Logan and Chloe, as well as his daughter in law Karen and grandchildren Cameron, Lilly, and Tessa. When not busy with his dental practice Dr. Teagarden loves to spend time with his family, go fishing, golf and play tennis. He and his wife Kari are also a Foster Care Family for the Department of Social Services.
