Get to Know Dr. Felsenfeld Joel L. Felsenfeld, D.D.S., P.L.L.C. has recently relocated his practice to the Lakes Medical Center in West Bloomfield after 14 years in Keego Harbor. His new, state-of-the-art facility welcomes patients of all ages, providing comprehensive dental care in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. His practice incorporates both pediatric and adult general dentistry, with emphasis on cosmetic and implant dentistry, geriatric care (including complete and partial dentures), and TMJ therapy. In addition, he has extensive experience treating patients with special needs and the medically compromised.  Dr. Felsenfeld believes in continuing dental education, and has been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry since 1986. His office incorporates the latest technology, which allows the doctor to develop the most appropriate dental care plan for each individual patient. He is dedicated to educating his patients on the importance of oral health care and its effect on one’s overall health and well being. Dr. Joel Felsenfeld has been a Commerce Township resident for 13 years. His wife is employed at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital and his two sons are students in the Walled Lake School District. Dr. Felsenfeld is a graduate of the University of Michigan, studying anthropology-zoology as an Honors College undergraduate and earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1985. He is a former Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the University of Michigan Hospital. His duties included: clinical supervision for the general Practice Residency Program, In-patient care, management of the medically compromised, and providing dental care to patients undergoing general anesthesia.
