Dr. Littlejohn was born and raised in San Diego, California. He achieved the rank of BlackBelt in Tae Kwon Do as a teenager and competed nationally, spending a week at the Olympic Training center in Colorado Springs, CO. after qualifying at a national tournament. He went to undergraduate school on a full scholarship to Prairie View A&M University in the Benjamin Banneker’s Honors College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Littlejohn attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine also on a full academic scholarship. He did his Urology residency at Howard University in Washington, D.C. after completing the two years of prerequisite General Surgery at the University of Connecticut. After his urology residency, Dr. Littlejohn did a Fellowship in Neuro-Urology and Voiding Dysfunction at Columbia University in New York. He went on to become an Assistant Professor at Columbia University after completing his fellowship. He was in New York for a total of 8 years, spending the last two years serving as the Chairman of the Department of Urology at Jacobi Medical Center, where he helped to train urology residents in urologic surgery.
