Jessaka Fife, M.D. is the Medical Director of Senior Behavioral Health at EAMC-Lanier. Dr. Fife is originally from north Alabama and completed her medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). She also completed her residency training at UAB in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology, where she was chosen as Chief Resident during her final year of training.Dr. Fife\u2019s medical interests include dementia and its complications, major depressive disorder, bipolar spectrum disorders, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders, and delirium syndromes. Dr. Fife has worked extensively with military veterans, and she has special experience and training in telehealth.In her spare time, Dr. Fife enjoys traveling and volunteering at her local animal shelter with her two teenage children.
