Brief Intro

Dr. Cymerman has over 25 years of experience as a dentist. He completed his BA at SUNY Binghamton in 1976, and went on to obtain his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1980. He did his general practice residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine / Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Flordia. He finished his Endodontic residency at Nassau County Medical Center in 1983 and was chief resident in 1982 and 1983. After completing his endodontic residency he achieved board certification with the American Board of Endodontics and is a member of the College of Diplomates. He also has been a clinical attending dentist at Nassau County Medical Center and St. Charles Hospital. He has lectured nationally and internationally on various topics in endodontics. His areas of expertise include treatment of traumatic dental injuries, microsurgical root canal therapy and the use of cone beam cat scans in endodontics. Dr. Cymerman is an Affiliate Member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Cymerman has been in private Endodontic practice since 1983. He is also on the staff of the University Hospital at Stony Brook and the Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Cymerman remains active in academics as a clinical assistant professor at the School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University. He has been involved in Endodontic research and has published numerous research articles in the Journal of Endodontics
