Jeremy Beckworth, MD is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), Interventional Pain, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of spine and musculoskeletal pain conditions with an emphasis on improving function and quality of life. Dr. Beckworth earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, CA. He went on to complete his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency and interventional pain fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. Prior to joining AdventHealth Hendersonville, Dr. Beckworth cared for patients at the Emory Spine Center for 15 years, serving as the co-director of the center from 2017 to 2022. He was the Emory PM&R associate residency program director for nine years and won teacher of the year award six times. Dr. Beckworth was the Atlanta Falcons pain management physician from 2019-2022 and is an oral board examiner for the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is active with the Spine Intervention Society (SIS) on their research division, annual program planning committee, research mentorship committee and has been involved in four studies that have won the best research award at the SIS annual meeting. These were studies related to cervical epidural safety, intradiscal stem cell injections and the natural history of cervical radiculopathies. Dr. Beckworth offers leading edge care to address spine and musculoskeletal pain conditions, working with his patients to help them regain functions and quality of life. Some of the procedures he offers include epidurals (lumbar, thoracic, cervical), radiofrequency ablations (Intracept® for spine, COOLIEF* for knee), joint injections, kyphoplasty, peripheral nerve and spinal cord stimulators.
