Dr. Steiner completed his undergraduate degree at Brown University. He continued with his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University before completing his Internal Medicine Residency, Chief Residency and formal training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the New York University (NYU) Medical Center, named by US News as one of America's Best Hospitals for Digestive Disorders. Dr. Steiner joined Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Centers and the Memorial Healthcare System in 1994. Dr. Steiner is Secretary and Treasurer of the Medical Executive Committee and Former Chief of Medicine and Section Chief, Division of Gastroenterology at Memorial Hospital Pembroke.
