Dr. Jeff A. Fox earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University in 1991. Dr. Fox attended medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, graduating in 1996. His residency was completed at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery Residency in 2001.
Dr. Fox has been a faculty instructor for The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Surgical Treatment of Complex Knee Ligaments, Patellofemoral and Articular Cartilage Disorders course. He has been an associate Master Instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America Advanced Shoulder course and Complex Knee course. His research interests and publications cover the areas of knee and shoulder surgery, including arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, meniscal transplantation, and articular cartilage repair.
Dr. Fox is a Fellow of the Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center, Sports Medicine Fellowship. He is certified by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society, the American Medical Association, the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, the Tulsa County Medical Society, and the Oklahoma State Medical Association.
His sub-specialty/special interest is Sports Medicine, Arthroscopic Surgery of Knee, Shoulder, Elbow, Ankle, and Hip, Reconstructive Surgery of Shoulder and Knee, Articular Cartilage Repair, and General Orthopedics
Dr. Fox enjoys fly-fishing, cycling, basketball, hunting, and golf. He and his wife live in Tulsa with their children.
