Brief Intro

We are pleased to announce Dr. Jared Price as the newest physician at InterMountain Medical Clinic. Growing up in Idaho Falls, he attended Bonneville High School. After completing an LDS mission in Portugal he attended Idaho State University receiving his bachelors degree in Chemistry. He received his Medical Degree in 2004 from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Board Certification in Family Medicine came after internship and residency in South Bend Indiana where he had the opportunity to assist in stadium medical coverage during home football games at the University of Notre Dame. He also participated in medical coverage of several inter-mural boxing events on campus, as well as coverage of area high school football games. In December of 2006, Dr. Price engineered a trip with a fellow resident to travel to Sri Lanka to give medical care to the victims of the tsunami. His interest in sports medicine continued as he pursued a fellowship in sports medicine at Southern Illinois University, where he was able to do out rotations with the Missouri Tigers during their high ranking 2007 season. Dr. Price worked as a college professor at Quincy University teaching Physiology of Endurance training, and has presented several case studies at national sports medicine conferences. His medical interests include exercise as medicine and medical weight management. He has been accompanied in his educational pursuits by his wife Mecinna, and their five children. He enjoys basketball, tennis and assisting his wife in her growing business. Dr. Price is currently accepting new qualified patients.
