Dr. Klein is an experienced physician specializing in pediatric hematology and oncology. He believes in establishing a team of healthcare providers who look at all aspects of the disease and how they affect the child and his or her family members. It’s this team approach, with a compassionate and well-trained staff that is key to delivering optimal treatment. In addition, Dr. Klein continues to follow his patients into their teen years to ensure they continue to grow and develop appropriately after their treatment is completed.
Board certified in pediatrics, endocrinology and hematology and oncology, Dr. Klein received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. From there, he went to Denver, Colo. To complete his internship, pediatrics residency and fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Klein also completed a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, N.Y. He has been named as a Frederick Alder Fellow for biomedical research and as a Charles Dana Foundation Scholar. Dr. Klein is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.
