I was born in Spokane, Washington, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida when I was nine years old. I completed college, medical school, and residency training at the University of Florida, and will always be a Gator. I moved back to the Pacific Northwest five years ago. I am in a wonderful relationship, and have a blended family of five children and three cats. When I was little, I wanted to be a racecar driver. After deciding against that, I began to explore medicine. I love pediatrics, watching children grow and change, and helping them to attain a healthy adulthood. I am a teacher in the family medicine resident program, and enjoy teaching different approaches to pediatrics. I appreciate the challenge and constantly changing possibilities that new advancements allow.
