Brief Intro

Dr. Jamin Brahmbhatt is Co-Director of The PUR Clinic – Personalized Urology & Robotics – at South Lake Hospital, in partnership with Orlando Health in Clermont, FL. He specializes in chronic groin and testicular pain, male infertility, urologic oncology, sexual dysfunction, and men’s health. He was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Boston where he obtained his undergraduate and graduate education. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology from Boston University and completed his medical training at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Brahmbhatt completed his urology residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, followed by a one-year clinical fellowship in robotic microsurgery and male infertility at the University of Florida. Dr. Brahmbhatt is an active member of many local and national healthcare organizations including the American Urological Association, Florida Urological Society, Society of Laproendoscopic Surgeons, Society of Male Reproduction & Urology, and Robotic Assisted Microsurgery and Endoscopic Society. He frequently speaks at community and academic events on his clinical and research interests. He has published book chapters and journal articles on his research interests that include robotic microsurgery, male infertility, and chronic groin, testicular, and pelvic pain. Dr. Brahmbhatt is passionate about education and using science and technology to inspire our future leaders. Both him and his partner run the annual STAR (Science and Technology Advancement through Robotics) summer internship. Every June for men’s health month, Dr. Brahmbhatt and his partner, Dr. Sijo Parekattil organize the Drive 4 Men’s Health. They recently completed the first marathon drive from FL to NYC in 26 hours with live webcasts, rallys, and social media campaigns focusing on men’s health. Cars and technology were used to break down barriers get men talking about their health. Plans are set for a 2015 trip from FL to NY to LA to continue the conversation!
