Born in NYC and raised an Westport, CT, I attended Duke University and went on to study medicine in Philadelphia, train in Surgery, Transplant and Tissue Engineering in Boston, Plastic Surgery in NJ and Orthopedic Hand Surgery in NYC. I dedicated 20 years beyond graduating from high school training to become a practitioner trained and capable of reconstructing tissues at all levels, from bone to skin, for either reconstructive or cosmetic purposes. I opened my practice in the Princeton area in 1996, at the age of 37, and have been treating people in this region ever since. I have had the privilege of being one of the very few who have trained in all three disciplines of hand surgery, including Orthopedic, Plastic and General Surgery, offering a unique perspective when managing problems of the hand and upper limb. I have also specialized in Pediatric Plastic Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital, the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia [CHOP], Cooper University Hospital and the Franciscan Hospital for Children [formally the John F. Kennedy Hospital for Children] in Boston. As an artist who works with several media, I am privileged to have the opportunity to use my artistic, scientific and three dimensional visual skills to perform cosmetic surgical procedures for patients throughout our region, as well as those who have traveled from other national and international locations. Having conducted basic science laser research in both Boston and New York, I am well versed and maintain a strong clinical practice in the application of medical lasers for use during cosmetic procedures. Finally, as Medical Director of the Reliant Surgical Center, LLC, I have an opportunity to oversee every aspect of ambulatory surgical care with the assistance of a fine Administrative and Nursing Staff in order to maximize operative facility quality, patient comfort and safety, all of which are paramount to maintaining a successful Plastic Surgical Practice. Dr. Matthew J. Lynch, Associate Medical Director, and I work diligently to maintain and preserve the finest treatment environment for all of our patients.
