Brief Intro

Dr. Rice is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Duke University. He is board certified in OBGYN and a fellow of both the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the International College of Surgeons. Dr. Rice is also an active member of the American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) He also serves as the Director of Gynecological Services for our practice. Dr. Rice has thirty years experience as a gynecologic surgeon and has specialized training in minimally invasive gynecologic and urogynecologic procedures. He has a special interest in Robotic surgery and was one of the first gynecologists in the area to be trained to operate with the da Vinci Robot. His expertise in pelvic reconstructive surgery for both prolapse and urinary incontinence has earned the respect of the medical community. He also has a strong interest in clinical research and has conducted over 60 clinical trials. In his spare time, Dr. Rice enjoys cycling, hiking, mountain climbing, skiing and kayaking. He is married with two daughters. He is available for appointments in Renton and Covington
