He grew up in Central Illinois and graduated summa cum laude from MacMurray College in Illinois. He graduated from the Chicago Medical School with honors. He began his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Lutheran General Hospital in Chicago and completed his training at the University of Illinois in Peoria. Dr. Mauck is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Other professional memberships include the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscoptists, American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Association and National Perinatal Association, and the Society of Laproscopic Surgeons.
