Dr. James Thiel graduated from Marquette University Dental School. He then served in the U.S. Navy, in the Fleet Marines. In 1966 he moved to Massachusetts where he completed his specialty in Prosthetic and Implant Dentistry from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry. Dr. Thiel has served as Chairman and is currently an Executive Officer of Local and State Dental Societies, as well as former Chair and current Officer of Yankee Dental Congress. He is a former Trustee of Boston University Dental School, and remains active in Dental Honorary and Specialty Organizations. Dr. Thiel taught as an associate professor of Prosthetics at Boston University, and has lectured in state, national and international organizations.
