He has been dedicated and actively involved in these disciplines for the last 32 years in Austin and Central Texas. James %u201CJim%u201D K. Pohl, M.D., F.C.C.P. attended The University of Texas at Austin, (B.S.), Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Tx, (MD), his Internship and Residency at Boston City Hospital (Boston University) and his Pulmonary Fellowship at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. Dr. Pohl grew up in Austin, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and was a two year varsity letterman in swimming. During his years in Austin, he has been an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his four daughters and five grand children along with his wife of 36 Years, Bonnie Pohl.
