Dr. Fritz Schmutz, MD, board-certified Interventional Radiologist practicing at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, has created a series of informational videos about stroke. In the first video, Dr. Schmutz talks about stroke, its treatment options and why it is important to get to a Primary Stroke Center fast. In his second video, Dr. Schmutz shares information about mini-strokes, also known as transient ischemic attacks (TIA). Mini-strokes are warning signs of a full-blown stroke event and a patient should immediately go to a Primary Stroke Center to be evaluated by stroke specialists.
