James A. Murphy, M.D. is a board certified eye surgeon who retired from cataract surgery in 2013 and now sees patients on a part-time basis in the St. Joseph Office. Dr. Murphy received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. His internship was performed at Milwaukee County General Hospital and his residency at St. Louis University Hospitals in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Murphy is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Murphy has been in private group practice since 1974.
