Dr. Jacob Patterson, M.D., is an Orthopedic Surgeon, FAAOS who has joined St. Thomas More Orthopaedic Clinic in Canon City. Dr. Patterson has practiced in Canon City since 1991 has established a lasting relationship with our community. Dr. Patterson is currently accepting new patients in our orthopedic clinic. We accept most insurance including United Health Care, Blue Cross, Humana, Tri-Care, Medicaid and Medicare.Dr. Patterson earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Trinity College and a Master’s Degree from Texas A & M University. He earned his medical degree and completed his orthopedic training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In 1991 he joined practice with Dr. Eric Carlson in Canon City. Together they provided continuous, quality orthopedic care and emergency coverage to our community for 25 years. Dr Patterson’s goal is to maintain the respect of his patients, colleges and co-workers.Dr. Patterson’s wife Marion is a certified registered operating room nurse and surgical first assistant who works with him in the office and the operating room. Together they share 5 children and two grandchildren. They enjoy golfing, horses, hunting, music, bicycling, family and time together outdoors.
