Dr. Gerogiannis received his medical degree from the National University of Athens in Greece. He completed his residency in general surgery at the Graduate Hospital, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia and his residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. -He was an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Tufts University, School of Medicine in Boston and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Mass. -Dr. Gerogiannis is board certified in surgery and thoracic surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Gerogiannis specializes in robotic cardiothoracic surgery.
