Ibrahim Ahmed Elgabry, M.D., F.A.C.C., a board certified cardiologist, recently joined the medical staff of Clearfield Hospital. Dr. Elgabry specializes in cardiovascular disease.
At Clearfield Hospital, Dr. Elgabry will perform cardiac consultations, adult echocardiograms, cardiac stress testing, dobutamine stress testing, electrocardiograms, Holter monitor interpretations, transesophageal echocardiogram and evaluation and treatment of irregular heart rhythms, among other procedures.
He completed a cardiology fellowship at Seton Hall University in New Jersey in July 2007. Dr. Elgabry graduated from a residency in internal medicine at St. Josephs Hospital, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, in Paterson, New Jersey, after earning a medical degree from Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt. He served on the Faculty of Medicine while at the university.
Prior to joining Clearfield Hospital, Dr. Elgabry practiced non-invasive cardiology at Lehigh Valley Cardiology Associates in Bethlehem.
Dr. Elgabry is a member of the following organizations: American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians and the American Society of Echocardiography. He has been involved in a number of research projects.
