Dr. Howard Gilmer is currently serving as Medical Director for the Amputee Rehabilitation Program at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC. He sees patients with a wide variety of injuries and conditions, including limb loss, musculoskeletal pain or injury, sciatica, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, sports injuries, spinal cord injuries, and more. His practice performs many procedures and injections, such as botox for spasticity, joint aspiration, joint injection, musculoskeletal ultrasound and gait analysis. Dr. Gilmer is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R). Most major insurances accepted.
