For Dr. Koffman, the reward of being a physician is being able to share in his patients' lives. He feels the challenging and always changing science of medicine is the backdrop to the great priviledge of sharing in his patients' lives. He enjoys the opportunity to teach and learn from his patients, as well as share in their joys and sorrows. Dr. Koffman sees his role as facilitator and partner. Family practice allows him to esablish close ties with his patients and their families.
