Dr. Henry Oh is the director of the transplant program at St. John Hospital and Medical Center. He is a graduate of Yon Sei University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea and completed his internship and surgical residency at St. Luke Hospital in Minnesota and Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Oh is a board certified surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a board member of the Transplantation Society of Michigan. Dr. Oh's special interests include kidney and pancreas transplantation.
He looks to serve "par excellence care" to the E.S.R.D population with organ transplants and associated surgical procedures. Dr. Oh provides kidney and pancreas transplant services to people with end-stage renal disease and selected type 1 diabetes mellitus with complications. Our team provides state of the art transplants including most up-to-date immunosuppressive, protocols, laparoscopic living-donor nephrectomy, in addition to care suited to individual need.
Dr. Oh was recognized by his peers as one of Metro Detroit's most respected organ transplant specialists in Hour Detroit magazine's annual "Top Docs" rankings in 2008.
