Herb Roehrich, MD, is board certified in general psychiatry and fellowship trained in schizophrenia research and addiction psychiatry. In his practice, he utilizes the bio-psychosocial model of psychiatric care. He believes there is solid evidence that biological, psychological and social factors have a strong influence on health. Dr. Roehrich earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Hospital and completed his residency at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During his residency, he participated in research in mood disorders and has published several papers on the subject. His fellowship training in schizophrenia was completed at the University of Michigan Hospitals and his fellowship training in addiction was done at Fair Oaks Hospital. He has also published research articles and book chapters on addiction topics.
