"Leisure time with the family is good for the mind, body and soul." Dr. Smith graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Morehouse College and received his Medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiology Fellow at Emory University. He was Assistant Professor of Medicine and Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab at Grady Hospital of Emory University. Dr. Smith is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and ABIM Cardiovascular diseases with a certificate of added qualifications in Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Heart Association and American Medical Association.
