Dr. Green is a Clinical Cardiologist and Internist Specializing in diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and other medical conditions. As a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, and American Heart Association, Dr. Green is an accomplished cardiac physician and member of the Wayne County Medical Society. Dr. Green is also a Clinical Associate Professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine as well as a member of the teaching faculty at Providence Hospital Academic Services. Dr. Green has accomplished numerous publications, presentations, symposia and scientific exhibits. Administered by the Michigan Heart Association, Dr. Green served as the Director of the Cardiac Care Unit Surveillance Project under the auspices of Wayne State University and the Michigan Association for Regional Medical Programs from 1969 to 1974. Recognized through multiple honor societies, including Alpha Omega Alpha, Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Eta Sigma, Dr. Green is a James B. Angell Scholar, who has received the prestigious Grand Award, which was sponsored in 1973 by the Michigan Hospital Association for the development of the Mobile Intensive Cardiac Care Program in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Greenâ€™s past appointments include Chairman of the Michigan Heart Associationâ€™s Coronary Intensive Care Unit Committee, Providence Hospitalâ€™s Cardiac Care Committee, and the Instrumentation Study Group of the Inter-Society Commission for Heart Disease Resources, where he served on both the Advisory and Executive Committees. As a member of the Editorial Board of Health Devices, Dr. Green also helped direct the publication regarding the Emergency Care Research Institute of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
