Dr. Tuerff joined the Christiana Care medical staff in 2001, following completion of a one-year clinical fellowship in vascular surgery at New York University Medical Center in New York, and a year of research in carotid disease and endovascular procedures at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Her areas of interest include complex aneurysm and endovascular aneurysm repair, carotid artery disease, minimally invasive varicose vein treatments, diabetic wound care and thoracic outlet syndrome. She is board certified in general and vascular surgery.
